We've recorded the first tracks of our new song, "33 Gone". More to go in the next few weeks, adding the
horns, lead guitar and final mix. We're aiming to have it ready by 4/16/2008 for the 1-year anniversary of the Virginia
Tech tragedy. Stay tuned.

We had a great time at Sully's last Saturday. In front of a spirited gathering of about 250 people we performed
our new original, Evening Song, and played 'til 1 in the morning for a large group of diehards who kept wanting "...one more
song!" We're going to try to get an early/mid May return date there, plus one more in the fall. The people there
are so nice and we're glad to be back.
Going into the studio mid-February to record "33 Gone", a tribute to the victims (all 33 of them) of the Virginia
Tech tragedy last year. Our goal is try to "release" it somehow on either YouTube or MySpace on the 1-year anniversary
(4-16-08). We hope that we can pull this off in time. Stay tuned.

We're looking forward to our return to Sully's on 1/26/08. We've been practicing and dusting off a few
songs from the back of the rack, like Day Tripper, Taxman, 10th Ave Freezeout and others. Also, we're going to try on
a new original for you guys, "Evening Song". Hope you like it.

Ned Devine's
The FDTs are getting ready for our first ever performance at Ned Devine's in Centreville, VA on December 6.
It's an "audition" of sorts so that the folks at Ned's can see us, hear us, and see what kind of attendance we can achieve.
The hope is that we make enough of a good impression so we can play there on Saturdays in the future.
Originals
We've been working on a new song to add to our still small collection of FDT originals. Also, re-tooling
a couple of the old originals, "Won't You Be My Girl Tonight?" and "Like the First Time" by adding horn parts and new vocal
arrangements. Hopefully, we can play these for you sometime in the spring. Earlier this year, we unveiled our
latest song, "Soft Eyes" at Sweethearts and at the beach, and received really good feed back. Hopefully, more on the
way at our snail's pace. Someday, perhaps, we'll record these....but in the meantime, we'll get them ready for live
enjoyment.
